£1M UP FOR GRABS IN MIDLANDS, WALES & SCOTLAND

Thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, charities and not-for-profit organisations in the Midlands, Scotland & Wales will be able to apply for funding from Monday 6th of July

In a slight change to timescales, the Q3 Community Grants round will open on the 6th of July, and allow registered charities delivering projects and services to submit applications for up to £20,000 in funding - or up to £2,000 for other community and not-for-profit groups.

This follows a hugely successful inaugural Q1 round, which took applications from the North of England and Yorkshire, seeing 115 projects awarded a total of £1m.

The following eligible Q3 areas include:

  • East Midlands - Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire
  • West Midlands - Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands County
  • Scotland
  • Wales

Clara Govier, Head of Charities at People's Postcode Lottery said:"Thanks to our players, Postcode Community Trust has already been able to make a number of awards to great organisations at grass-roots level. We look forward to expanding this support to the MIdlands, whilst continuing the outreach in Scotland and Wales".

Applications are completed through an Online Application Form, which will become available on Monday the 8th July, with all forms to besubmitted by no later than 5.30pm on Thursday the 6th of August.

Prior to applying, all applicants are advised to fully read the Guidance Notes - which give more information on eligibility.

Proposals will then be assessed by Trustees, and it is anticipated that applicants can expect feedback around 6-8 weeks after this closing date.
